Houston unveils mass transit project connecting Galleria to downtown

The Metropolitan Transit Authority is revving up the engine on its latest mass transit project: METRORapid Inner Katy. Metro wants to build a bus-only roadway between its Northwest Transit Center (at Interstate 10 and the West Loop) into downtown Houston.

Billion-dollar budget for new international terminal at Bush Intercontinental Airport rising again

In June 2014, the Houston Airport System announced the construction of a new Mickey Leland International Terminal at Bush Intercontinental Airport. The city council approved the IAH Terminal Redevelopment Program, better known as ITRP, with an initial price tag of $700 to $900 million dollars.

A new boutique hotel from Hotel Havana team is coming to Houston

A new hotel from the Austin-based hospitality group Bunkhouse is coming to Houston. Hotel Saint Augustine will be the group’s first project in Houston and is planned to be adjacent to the Menil Collection in Montrose.
